Zand Molecular Microbiology (ZMM) publishes research articles that probe fundamental processes in bacteria, archaea, and their viruses and the molecular mechanisms by which they interact with each other and with their hosts and their environments.
We publish studies of all microbes, leading to a deeper understanding of the molecular principles underlying basic physiological processes, mechanisms, biological functions, and interactions. We encourage cross-disciplinary approaches including the use of computational analyses to inform experimental studies. The journal will thereby strengthen its service to the broader microbiology research community.
